This book gave me great outline on what I needed to study for for the new CCNP Switch. A lot of training sites like CBT Nuggets and INE hadn't created a series for the CCNP Switch yet, so I had to grab info from everywhere. But this book touched on EVERY topic listed on the Cisco site for the SWITCH exam and I passed the test with flying colors. But if it wasn't apparent from I said, I used this book in CONJUNCTION with other material. I wouldn't expect to use this book alone and pass the test, unless I already had all the knowledge needed and just wanted to refresh and go over the topics on the exam. But now that CBT Nuggets has their series out, I would recommend using this book and the videos in conjunction, along with using an actual router and switches to study.
